The schedule of workshops on the General Law on Environmental Licensing continues to move forward.
Yesterday, Alexandre Sion led another workshop for the Alcoa team, this time focused on the Juruti/PA team, in a meeting dedicated to analyzing the practical impacts of the new environmental legislation on business operations. This was the third workshop held for Alcoa in 2026. After meetings with the teams from Poços de Caldas/MG and São Luís/MA, Juruti concludes a sequence that covered three states and three distinct operational realities, each with its own regulatory specificities, land contexts, and interfaces with communities and territories.
We thank Alcoa for their trust and for continuing this highly relevant technical dialogue, as well as for the seriousness with which the company has conducted discussions related to environmental licensing and the responsible management of its operations.
