Following the intense schedule of workshops and technical debates across Brazil, Alexandre Sion gave a lecture, last Tuesday (19), to the staff of the State Secretariat for Environment, Climate and Sustainability (SEMAS/PA), in Belém/PA.
This was the second time Alexandre visited SEMAS/PA to discuss the General Environmental Licensing Law (LGLA). Following the first meeting, which focused on an initial analysis of the new legislation, this week’s presentation centered on the evolving understanding of the LGLA, its developments and ongoing actions before the Supreme Federal Court (STF), as well as clarifying doubts and holding debates with the new group of Secretariat employees.
