FEAM appoints new Chairman

This week the Environment State Foundation – FEAM has appointed as its new interim Chairman the Assistant Secretary of State for Environment and Sustainable Development, Germano Luiz Gomes Vieira.

Germano Vieira has also  served as Director for Corruption Prevention of the State Comptroller General – CGE, as Chief-Attorney of the Water Management State Institute – IGAM, as Head of Office at the Secretariat of State for Environment and Sustainable Development – SEMAD and as Subsecretary for Environment Management and Regularization.

We are certain that Mr. Germano’s solid experience and ease of dealing with the various players involved in the environmental matters shall be very useful skills to surpass the challenges every environmental body faces in Brazil.
