On february 21, the Supreme Federal Court (STF) retook the Trial for the Forest Code (Law nº 12.651/2012) constitutionality. Ministers Marco Aurélio and Cármen Lúcia presented their votes, in which they discussed the provisions of the Law related to Legal Reserve, sanction and environmental repair, environmental regularization programs and suppression of Permanent Preservation Areas (APPS). After that, the session was suspended, and shall be resumed in today’s (02/22/2018) session.
