Last Wednesday, Alexandre Sion was in Pará for another workshop, this time dedicated to the Equatorial Energia team on the practical impacts of the LGLA (Brazilian Energy Licensing Law) for electric power companies in Brazil: what changes, what remains uncertain, and what already requires attention in the licensing processes.
In two days in Pará, there were two lectures. Different audiences, same law, complementary perspectives. On Tuesday, Alexandre had given a lecture for SEMAS, the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability of Pará. Speaking with the regulator one day and with the regulated the next perfectly summarizes the role that Sion Advogados has been playing in this debate: at the center, where perspectives meet.
We thank Equatorial Energia for their receptiveness and the seriousness with which they are addressing this issue.
