On the 16th, in Brasília, Alexandre Sion took part in the International Mining Law Congress as moderator of the workshop “Sanctioning Proceedings at the ANM.”
Together with several colleagues and with the qualified contributions of the audience, it was possible to put forward several suggestions to the ANM, reinforcing the importance of a sanctioning model that combines proportionality, predictability, simplicity, and incentives for compliance in the mining sector.
