On September 30, in São Paulo, Alexandre Sion delivered the lecture “Mining in Protected Areas: legal limits, possibilities and challenges” at an event promoted by the Mining Law Commission of OAB/SP, at the invitation of its president, Solange Costa.
The presentation addressed the different legal regimes applicable to mining in protected areas, considering aspects such as the category of the area, its specific rules, the characteristics of the project, and the required permits.
