In a new chapter on the revocation of CONAMA Resolutions No. 284/2001, 302/2002 and 303/2002, the last one relating to the parameters, definitions and limits of Permanent Preservation Areas, such as mangroves and restingas, by Resolution No. CONAMA 500/2020 , in a monocratic decision, Rapporteur Rosa Weber (Supreme Federal Court) restored the validity and effectiveness of the Resolutions within the scope of ADPFs n. 747, 748 and 749:
“(….) I grant the request for an injunction, ad referendum of the Full Court, to suspend, until the judgment of the merits of this action, the effects of CONAMA Resolution No. 500/2020, with the immediate restoration of the validity and effectiveness of CONAMA Resolutions No. 284/2001, 302/2002 and 303/2002. (…)”
