The Supreme Federal Court has removed Direct Actions of Unconstitutionality (ADIs) 7.913, 7.916, and 7.919, as well as Declaratory Action of Constitutionality (ADC) 102, from today’s (August 19, 2026) trial agenda; these cases concern the General Environmental Licensing Law (Federal Law No. 15.190/2025) and the Special Environmental Licensing Law (Federal Law No. 15.300/2025). Consequently, the review of the constitutionality of the legal framework establishing general rules and principles for environmental licensing has been postponed.
